I gotten an idea for this artwork for a person who lost everything in the apocalypse but he hasn't lost hope. Im the type of person who makes dark artworks and gives it a story to it which make it even more exciting to make this piece. I used photoshop as well for this piece while learning new skills like this tool which is basically the stamp tool but it makes things easier to change certain objects. This tool is called the "patch tool" it make you draw a shape and it highlight the inside of that shape and you can click and drag that shape into another part of a body, plant or anything you want it to replace. This artwork shows that I love story's that have a extremely sad part but that later gives the protagonist hope for the future.
I made this artwork because I had this idea for at least 4 years. I wanted to make this piece but just didn't know what to make it out of. But when I took Graphic Design last year I decided I want to make this artwork on either illustrator or PhotoShop. So O decided to use PhotoShop for this piece because for my opinion I like PhotoShop more than illustrator. I've used the skills I learned from PhotoShop to make this piece like the burn tool, the stamp tool, and others. I want this artwork to show people who I really am. Some might think that I'm that one cheery kind of guy who is always happy, but really I feel sad, alone, and confused about myself. I always think what is my purpose in life I'm not good at anything at all, I always mess things up. So i made this artwork to show my true feelings about myself which I want to try to show people who i really am. A person who's trying to hide his true self behind a mask, and show people who I'm not.
I made this piece because I had an idea of seeing what would happen if that you were at your house and you were thinking that it such a peaceful day and then out in the field you see dead less people. So out of nowhere it became from a normal day to a zombie apocalypse.
This piece gave me inspiration because when I played each Pokemon game I look how much has changed and how much of the graphics have improved. I used Illustrator to make the poke-ball and i used illustrator ideas on my iPad to draw each generation trainer. This piece shows how much I care about pokemon and how much time I worked on the piece. When they see this art they know I love playing Pokemon a lot and how much time it took for my to draw each trainer. Over all I think I did the most hours on the art than any other.
The thing that inspired me to make this video was when whenever I see a show I like or anything in particular to go to a different world is that. I got that idea from those things which I thought was really cool. So I found ways on how I can do that myself without needing to have to do retakes which I did until I found out I can just delete a certain picture in the stop motion. The thing I thought was successful was my whole stop motion even though the part with the paper ball and the paint were kinda cheap editing and I was too lazy to find something better for the paper ball so I just used tape for it. I would probable change one thing in the whole stop motion which is to remove everyone in the back ground because there were some people in the shot and most of the thing in the background were moved so people would notice that something change when that frame changed. I learned that it take patents to take the right picture for the stop motion and have to wait for most people to move out of the way so they wont ruin the shot. But overall the way it will affect my approach for other project is that I might make another stop motion for one and maybe edit it on the computer so i can add special effects to it to make it more awesome.
This artwork shows how much progress I've been showing in my photoshop skill over the past few years. This artwork was my most difficult and most time I've spent on than all of my artwork I've made in my highschool career. I've most of the regular tools I've been using for all my artworks like the stamp tool, eraser tool, and the brush tool. I also used other settings like scale, duplicating layers, filters, and trying out new tools like the shadow layer, which lets you remove things like the eraser tool but you can also add that part back if you made a mistake. I made yhe flames on the wings with a certin setting that let you bend the flames so you can go around the holes in the wi gs which gives it that look as if the fire is buring through the wings. I changed the flames look by using a certin fliter called "clear" or maybe it was a different name...anyways it basically removes the whole background of the flame but still keeps the flame as if it never had a back ground on it which made it easier for me and gives me more time to work on my artwork.
This artwork was probably my most hardest one because had todo three GIF's and had to all relate o the same thing. So I took pictures of my friend Martin "Alejandro" Zaragoza. He was kind enough to be my model for my GIF's even though I made him look really creepy . I got the idea from the new smash game that was coming out in that year. It showed new fighter which one of them was the villager from the game "animal crossing". Everyone was talking about how the villager looks like as if he kill many children parents in front of their eyes while picking up sea shells from the ground. So I made a story showing that Martin was on his tablet and using it then he stopped because he was on a plane and the worker told him if he could turn it off for a bit and he just nodded no with the face so he got kick out of the plane in the middle of the flight.
This piece was about a person seeing a floating island in space. It was also one of my first photoshop artwork that I did my whole year of art. I got the ideA from my friend Samuel Paz he made me get this idea from the artwork he did when he was in graphic. I saw him working on some of his artwork at lunch and when I see the final piece I so amazed by his work that it makes me want to do something like that as well. I was still learning how to use most of the tools but I think it deserves to be in the top ten of my most favorite artwork I did so far. I had lots of fun time making this art work.
I got the idea of this artwork from a picture i saw on pinterest i used that picture as my iPod background because I thought it was really cool. Whenever I see i think how did they do it and it would of been cool if it was a GIF so i deiced to do one of myself and make it into a GIF which actually didn't take that long at all. I use photography and Photoshop to make this piece. The meaning I wanted this artwork to have is that this person accomplish what he need to do but at what cost. He had to sacrifice things that he cared about deeply for achieving his goal.
