I gotten an idea for this artwork for a person who lost everything in the apocalypse but he hasn't lost hope. I'm the type of person who makes dark artworks and gives it a story to it which make it even more exciting to make this piece. I used Photoshop as well for this piece while learning new skills like this tool which is basically the stamp tool but it makes things easier to change certain objects. This tool is called the "patch tool" it make you draw a shape and it highlight the inside of that shape and you can click and drag that shape into another part of a body, plant or anything you want it to replace. This artwork shows that I love story's that have a extremely sad part but that later gives the protagonist hope for the future.
This artwork shows how much progress I've been showing in my Photoshop skill over the past few years. This artwork was my most difficult and most time I've spent on than all of my artwork I've made in my high school career. I've most of the regular tools I've been using for all my artworks like the stamp tool, eraser tool, and the brush tool. I also used other settings like scale, duplicating layers, filters, and trying out new tools like the shadow layer, which lets you remove things like the eraser tool but you can also add that part back if you made a mistake. I made the flames on the wings with a certain setting that let you bend the flames so you can go around the holes in the wings which gives it that look as if the fire is burning through the wings. I changed the flames look by using a certain filter called "clear" or maybe it was a different name...anyways it basically removes the whole background of the flame but still keeps the flame as if it never had a back ground on it which made it easier for me and gives me more time to work on my artwork.
I got the idea of this artwork from a picture i saw on pinterest i used that picture as my iPod background because I thought it was really cool. Whenever I see i think how did they do it and it would of been cool if it was a GIF so i deiced to do one of myself and make it into a GIF which actually didn't take that long at all. I use photography and Photoshop to make this piece. The meaning I wanted this artwork to have is that this person accomplish what he need to do but at what cost. He had to sacrifice things that he cared about deeply for achieving his goal.
